This multi-span gable roof greenhouse employs polycarbonate (PC) hollow panels and is engineered to deliver precise, stage-specific control of the photosynthetic light environment for high-value horticultural crops.
Its structural design features wide-span, asymmetric roof geometry—optimized for uniform light distribution, thermal efficiency, and structural resilience. The PC cladding ensures high visible-light transmittance (>80%), superior thermal insulation (U-value ≈ 2.3 W/m²·K), and exceptional impact resistance (IK10 rating).
Integrated dual-layer shading—comprising an external reflective screen and an internal diffuse-scattering curtain—enables dynamic, programmable modulation of photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD) across crop growth stages, thereby mitigating photoinhibition and thermal stress.
Customizable environmental control systems—including climate computers with adaptive algorithms for temperature, humidity, CO₂, and lighting—are tailored to the physiological requirements of diverse specialty crops, such as cut flowers, medicinal herbs, nursery seedlings, and shade-adapted species.
